Hi there, my name is Ben.

I have been self-publishing on Amazon KDP since 2019. Since I started, I have sold over 230,000 books on Amazon. I have also managed to do this while working a full-time job on the railway.

Once I started to make life-changing money from self-publishing, I have been keen to help people.

I started a self-publishing Facebook group 6 years ago called “KDP Secrets“. I wanted to create a community where self-publishers could get support if they got stuck or needed advice. At the time of writing this (April 2026), the group has over 46,000 members!

I also have a YouTube channel called “Money on the Side“, here I create video tutorials and walkthroughs for various parts of the self-publishing process, and I share valuable tips and insights too.

This business has truly changed my life financially, and helping others to achieve the same thing is a passion of mine.
